Team Descriptions

Baby Rocking:
The Baby Rocking Team will be lead by Cami Pomeroy. We welcome all who would like to be involved with rocking little babies.

During this time, mother’s who drop off their babies to be rocked will receive a Baby Bag filled with diapers and wipes. We are in the process of collecting them now. If you know of anyone who would like to donate towards this ministry please call the WOW Office.

Baptism :
Saturday, July 2, 2005 at The Church On The Way. Further details will be provided.

The baptism will be held for those who accepted Jesus at the WOW JAMS.

All volunteers will serve as a host to adopt a family or individual coming to be baptized.

BikeRepair:
Bike Repair is led by Lee Jensen. All men and women skilled in fixing bikes are welcomed to join the team.

If possible, please bring your own set of tools to work.

Career Counseling:
This booth is designed to council those in the neighborhoods who are needing an occupation. If you have materials that you feel can benefit those in the neighborhoods we go to please call the WOW office.

Family Photos:
Led by Bonnie Thiemens. All photos are taken digitally at each WOW JAM. After the week of WOW JAMS each photos is framed and delivered to each family! A great follow up tool to minister to those in need.

Flyer Distribution:
Saturday, June 18 and Saturday, June 25 th from 1-3 pm, we need as many people possible to come out and canvass the areas where the WOW JAM will be held! We need you so come on out!

Food Preparation:
This year, WOW was given 20,000 hamburger patties for all the WOW JAMS! Praise God! We need you to come on out and help serve at the WOW JAMS!

Kids Corner:
This is an incredible booth! As each child enters this booth they are asked what they would like to be when they grow up – a doctor, a lawyer, a cook, an athlete….then they dress the part and you take a picture of them, pray for them and they go home with the picture!

This booth requires Polaroid film and Polaroid cameras. If you have any connections of receiving donations for this booth please call the WOW office.

Face Painting:
We paint hundreds of faces during our week of WOW JAMS! If you enjoy working with children and skilled in painting a face – come on out!

Hair Cutting:
This team takes licensed hair cutters only! If you are one, please sign up today! We need you!

Please bring all your own tools for this booth.

Make-overs:
Make-overs are given to ladies 18 and over. If you are experienced in applying make-up and enjoy giving a lady a make-over we need you! This is a wonderful opportunity to minister to someone in need. Make someone feel special and beautiful!

Nail Painting:
Nail painting is for all young girls and ladies. If you would like to donate any nail polish or items towards this booth please call the WOW office!

Plant Give Away:
This booth always blesses everyone who comes to the WOW JAMS! To go home with a beautiful plant and scripture blesses their heart and home!

Each year hundreds of plants are donated to WOW for this booth! If you would like to be a part of this team sign up today!

Security:
We need men who are available to come and serve during the WOW JAM event. Responsible men who can assist in crowd control and security around the WOW truck and WOW sound board.

Off duty police officers are great too!

Sketching:
John Pomeroy began this booth 3 years ago when he came out and began sketching Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and many more Disney Characters! This is has been a booth that attracts all ages and blesses everyone who receives a drawing! If you are gifted in sketching or drawing Disney characters please join this team! Please bring your own tools!
